Expressions in After Effects are a massively useful, but without any specific tools for the job, debugging them can be rather tricky. In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to debug After Effects expressions using a text layer. We’ll use some cool tricks to take a look under the hood of the expressions engine, then we’ll go through an example, that uses a debugging layer to find several bugs in a 30 line expression.
